You Asked, We Answered

Today, I would like to take time to respond to some of your emails and posts. I have been encouraged by your kind words and pray that God will continue to minister to you through this medium. The ITN Leadership Group staff counts it an honor to serve each of you. Now, on to the questions…

Faith verses Presumption
Question: How do you recover when you stepped out on presumption (when in fact you thought you were operating in faith)?

Answer: First and foremost know that this is very common among those who aspire to achieve great things and make a difference. God is so big-even when we miss him, we run into him. In other words, God knew the mistakes we would make along the way and has made provision for us to get back on course. God uses our mistakes to qualify us, not disqualify us. A delay is not a denial. Brush off the dust, get back on the proverbial horse, and start riding again.

Lost in the Tarry
Question: When I started out, I knew I heard from God; now I have my doubts. I think I am lost in the tarry. What should I do?

Answer: I Chronicles 28:20 has been a source of inspiration for me time and time again. God chose Solomon to build the temple; a fact that couldn’t be argued or denied. Yet David finds it necessary to declare unto his son, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.” David knew his son would eventually find himself in the position you find yourself in today. It is important that we write the vision down; at times it will be the only thing to keep us during times of confusion and/or delay.

Leadership Coach
Question: You mentioned that you are a leadership/ministry coach; what exactly is that?

Answer: In short, I assist individuals and organizations with achieving their goals/visions from conception to manifestation. Although I (and the ITNLG staff) try to provide the tools and support necessary to realize your potential in God, I don’t just concentrate or focus on the goal, but stress the importance of not becoming a public success at the expense of private failure. We build the visionary as well as provide support for the vision. Contact me at dmoss@itnlg.com for a FREE consultation or for additional information.

Book Release
Question: When will copies of your book be available?

Answer: The name of the book is “The Kingdom Edge: Realizing Your Potential in God,” and is tentatively scheduled to be released Saturday, May 31, 2008. A book signing will be announced in the coming weeks.

Grace & Peace!
