Mindset for the Workplace

Let's face it, we all have experienced a difficult boss and backbiting co-workers at some point in our careers. This type of environment can be very debilitating; eating at the very core of your morale. In Mindset for the Workplace, Daemon Moss explores some practical solutions to these everyday problems we face.

Mindset for the Workplace
Winning at Work
I am on an assignment from God! I must realize that everything that occurs will eventually work for my good. Why? I am called according to his purposes (Romans 8:28).

Although I am "in" this environment, I am not "of" this environment. The gift and grace of God enables me to operate in "kingdom" in the midst of this "world system" (John 17:13-17; Romans 12:1-2).

The ungodly actions/attacks of others only serve to crucify my flesh so that my spirit man may operate freely and without hindrance (Romans 12: 17-21).

The occasional fear I experience from time to time is a gift from God. He is revealing my dependence on self and man and not him. As a result, I will quickly choose to trust his faithfulness and love for me (II Timothy 1:7).

My position is greater than that of resident, CEO or chairperson; although I honor and respect these positions, I do so with the understanding that I am an ambassador of the Most High God. As long as I represent His voice, all of heaven backs me. I don't need to have the highest rank to lead (II Cor 5:20).

My employer is Christ Jesus; I will do all that is appointed me with a spirit of excellence and dedication. I will be effective and efficient because my employer expects no less. The one who writes the check and pays my salary does not dictate my performance or work ethic; only my employer (Romans 12:11 & Ephesians 6:5-8).
